After reading the previous/various "WINcrap 95-8/WinModem" success
or/not scenarios I decided to try it out ...
Er, went fine until I got to the "0x-whatever" [base] stuf. WinModem
[PCI] on Com5/IRQ5 but haven't been able to find this other "base"
info.
Mister Wizard didn't find it. Tried: DOS box within WIN, "Start/Shut
down restart in DOS", boot F8 "command prompt" ...
Any ideas/help or comments? duh.
Arachne on 286/386/486/586 machines with reg modems no prob. Different
versions of course.
I was trying latest ver [1.7] on this last attempt.
