First, the RD has 4027 1k blocks with 3166 used if I can read my writing. Next, mounting and accessing the HD no longer makes for mucho I/O errors. And, I easily copied mc from the HD to RD and it works great ! I like your pppsetup. It's better than Dragon or Pygmy, but you should add some instruction about howto enter an init string like AT&FH0. A "/" is required before the &. i.e. AT/&FH0. Also, a suggestion that the user look in etc/ppp/ for a file with "errors" in the name would be good. I found it accidentally. I would NEVER have found it without mc. Anyway, I finally got online with it, using links, and my short trial was enough to make me delete it. MC said there was plenty of space so I copied over lynx from Dragon. It wouldn't work. I deleted IT and TRIED to copy over Lynx from Pygmy 06 with mc. Wouldn't copy. Said there was no space. Did df and that agreed. NO space.
