This version appears to be correct. The version you were
using before was faulty.

Perhaps. I reckon that by using d, you can find lots of stuff.

Why? It can't be the Q problem or the TAB problem, so what was it?

I do not use MC so I can't comment on whether this is reliable
or not. I use df to see how full the filesystem is.

I hope you realize that doing this risks corrupting something
and causing weird error messages. Please don't blame BasicLinux
if your experiment blows up. Still, as long as you are running
on the ramdisk, you can blow it up as much as you want. Each
time you reboot, you'll get a brand-new BasicLinux.

Are you sure? All of it?

You tell me. Obviously something is filling that space and
it is something that you (or mc) put there. I know very little
about mc (it's only an add-on because people asked for it --
I do not recommend it). And I know absolutely nothing about
the lynx in Dragon nor the lynx in Pygmy.

Baslinux works. I take great pains to make sure it does.
However, when you rip things out and stick new things in, all
bets are off. You are on your own. Such experimentation is
fine, but I urge you to restrict it to the ramdisk. Do not
make permanent changes until you are absolutely sure you know
what you are doing.

Cheers,
Steven
