That all depends on what you mean by "use". (1) Linux is going into a lot of embedded devices. Someday the "average joe" will be using a Linux cellphone or driving a Linux car. (2) Many ISPs (including mine) run Linux servers. So, in an indirect way, all their customers are using Linux. I agree that this does not necessarily mean Linux is going to pop up on the "average joe's" desktop. However, it's quite clear that Linux has a great future and that it's worthwhile climbing the learning curve. Cheers, Steven Cheers, Steven
