win backup disk

Greetings-
I am not sure if it was Sam, but I can use regular disks from Win 98
to winME....my problem was with w98 I used their back up
program that gives the disk an extention that is not recognized in ME.
So now I have a box full of "backup" disks that I have no way of
restoring.
I don't think there is anything on them that is too important, but I still
would like to see what is on them.
