I'd be thrilled with this guy's idea. One of the reasons I've not been able to run X is that I can't get a driver to work with my monitor. No X means text line confusion means I never got anywhere in 3 years. Now I'd LOVE to buy a better monitor but I was lucky to get this one for cheap and I just don't have the bucks. I don't want to run linux so I can surf in netscape. I want to run linux so I can set up a router and server box. For me the solution would give hope if the system can run on a 586 133 and with less than a Gig total hard drive space and can be installed without a cd. Like many Iwish I could have a system with a fuctioning linux on it so I would have somewhere to start learning. I wish I were a glow worm, 'Cause a glow worm's never glum.
