I have just send an email to your personal address with a pre-configured XF86Config file. Let me know if it doesn't arrive. Since people are having so much trouble using the xf86config setup utility, I'm thinking about changing the instructions for putting X on BasicLinux. Instead of getting people to select the server designed for their video card, I'm thinking about putting everyone on a pre-configured VGA server to start with. This causes problems for xfreecell and netscape, but perhaps it's the best way to go. Actually, I'd prefer a very, very generic 256-color XF86Config that will work on any SVGA monitor, but I can't even find one that works on all three of my SVGA monitors. Comments? Cheers, Steven
