We are trying to get Arachne 1.70 to work with our MS-DOS 6.22 machine using memory manager QEMM 8. We have already been able to get DOS ppp to connect and have successfully run MS-Kermit 3.14 on top of it. However, if we try the same procedure with Arachne (ie, connect with DOS ppp and then try to run Arachne), we get an "insufficient low memory" message and Arachne does not start.
Attempts to use Arachne's built-in ppp have failed. Arachne is unable to establish a connection even when the same configuration files used independently by DOS ppp are copied into Arachne's directory. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!
