I have .WAV files, but really only as an intermediate step between
recordings and MP3s.
I have .AU files of Australian bird calls - a specialist format I
guess.

I have some .aif soundfiles. I got them while following up
correspondance with a friend in Deadwood SD in connection with Lakota
music and singing. Again I get the impression that they may be stumbled
across in specialist areas.

I have got .VOC and .SND only as examples with my soundcard software.

.RA, .RAM and .RM is RealPlayer, and is about as common as MP3 in my
surfing.

Well, I have, but then I also have a collection of .MOD files, too.

From Arachne, I can play all of the above, as well as MIDI, MOD and MP3,
but not all with PLANY.

In case anyone hasn't noticed, I am into sound files, particularly for
music, and I have more than one DOS program for each type except those
that will only run under W95 or worse (like .RM).

         Ron
