The thing is that *VERY* big "if" in your statement.  I have a copy of
win 6.22 on my HDD; it doesn't include an image for a bootable diskette.
<G>  I *think* I have a win6.22 bootable diskette around here somewhere,
but only because I had to create one for a system that got trashed, and
the dear sweet virus infested system *did* allow me to make a bootable
diskette before both F-Prot & McAffee went to work removing MBR viruses
from HDD and about 250 diskettes. <sigh>

The thing is that diskettes don't last as long as hard drives ... "In
the beginning" it was just the opposite, but now if you want to keep
something with the least chance of bit-loss, it's on a harddrive
somewhere.  Someday maybe Flash Cards, but not yet ...
