I see with my message to Thomas Tabler and responses that the Arachne list
came back to life. At first I didn't notice when downloading 170 email messages
accumulated over nearly 60 hours, though I noticed tomstfor's direct response to
me.

Does anybody know who is the Arachne list owner, is it still Michael Polak? Who
is/are currently working on Arachne updates?

Regarding old DOS versions such as 3.10 (MS or PC), I see the point about
minimizing memory footprint on old PCs, but inability to recognize hard disk
partitions over 32 MB is a serious flaw. Even if you use "Internet in a
thimble" software, all the information downloaded is likely to exceed 32 MB
within fairly short time.
