It is scarey. It may be that the constant hassles OE users are having with viruses will drive enough folks to Linux that we'll see a global religious conversion, and the abandonment of the tyranny of Microsoft. But it may also be that some of the many enemies Microsoft has created while building it's empire will find a way to strike a fatal blow, and knock down the entire internet. Just wiping out all the windows users would be likely to cause a global financial panic.
