I'd be very interested in that, too. The biggest problem I have with
GS in DOS is that there doesn't seem to be a frontend (similar to
ghostview in Linux) that allows you to zoom, move back or forward a
page, etc. Does anyone know whether this problem has ever been
addressed?
Am I the only one who finds the "documentation" (joke) for GS almost
impossible to unravel? For example, on so many PDF files that I run
through GS 7.05 (or earlier versions), I get a screenful of text that
starts off with some cryptic message like "undefined in dict" or simply
"Error: " followed by rows of text with lots of dashes in them. I've
never found a document that explains what causes this or (more
importantly) how to fix it. Grrrr....
