  Yup, cameras with floppy drives have been around for at 
least 5 or 6 years.  I wonder what happens if the floppy has 
been formatted with ext2 though.  Will the camera still be 
able to write to it?
  
  My Kodak DC215 Zoom has a serial cable, and then there's 
also a USB reader you can stick the flash memory into... 
though I'd need to upgrade to gphoto2 for that, and since 
gphoto 0.4.3 works fine with the serial port, I'll just 
continue using that.
