Sorry for the wisecrack about 286's only being good for boat
anchors. Yes, they can do lots of interesting and useful things
as you point out. And I can see the satisfaction in that.

I know from experience that Lynx and Pine from a shell account
are faster than blazes. I really miss my shell account. Maybe I'll
hunt up a new one and go back to using Telix to get online.

286's and even XT's (which I used to use) are perfectly adeqaute
text mode terminals. But they are not much good for running Arachne.
