You might have lost clusters. This kind of peoblem is frequently encountered after power spikes and power outages which occur during a time when you have your computer turned on. Usually you can fix lost cluster problems by running CHKDSK with the "F" parameter, as in "CHKDSK /F". If you have lost clusters, fixing that problem might be the only remedy required. If you don't know which files you are missing, and if you can't just simply restore them from a backup, then you might have to reinstall Arachne. Good luck!
