Linux distro: I will go with 6.2 orso, should I download distro to HDD I will be using or to this 40gig & burn a CD?
Since this will be pure Linux how should I format [reformat] this HDD?
I could dual-boot this machine [700AMD/256] but I would be more comfortable learning about Linux on a separate puter for now.
[gots lots of work with Pagemaker to do] ...
I could use a 166 Pentium instead of 90 ... would this make a noticable difference with the same RAM? [64]
I have to drive 5 miles to town ... darn. Being close to the coast this means sun here/fog in town [summer] ... my tomatoes actually grow!
