G'wan with ya! You DID know, you just forgot. I rmember you mentioning
this file to me when I was having all the FTP trouble a while back.

But unfortunately it doesn't show anything related to the messages that
flash on the bottom of the screen. In my case when I tried to FTP to my
personal homepage subdirectory, the main screen showed:
        230-Welcome to your FTP Server.
which is all the log file contained too.
