Thank you, Bernie, for the new xpdf APM. I did some tests with it.

1. the version 2.02 actually IS superior to previous version 0.91.
With version 2.01 I had some doubts.

2. Your apm packet is not complete. The xpdfrc.cfg file (or
how it is called correctly) is quite necessary to convert pdf
files with latin2 or other non common charsets. As I inserted your
file into a working installation of xpdf 2.01, it is fine for me,
but probably not for others.

Yes, I certainly would help you and complete the packet. But I
really understand near to nothing of the font issue. So my own
xpdfrc.cfg is only try and error and may depend on some
other accidental ingredient on my system (Ghostscript fonts?).

May be the best way will be to include just the latin2 add-on and one
default configuration file and leave it up to the user how deeply he
wants to go into study of pdf technology.

Once again, thank you for your good work.

Christof Lange
