Perhaps you could offer access to the box holding Majordomo to one of the linux-savvy users on the Arachne list so it may be fixed proper. Steve, Roger, Rob, anyone? (my memory is not up-to-snuff regarding those who've expressed experience w/ linux)
While you're at it, you could throw the anonymous CVS up. ;)
