189 of those are cases that have been marked as manual without any of the files they contain being made open. The status of those cases has not changed, they are just now being listed so they can be identified more easily - I explained this in some detail in the mail I sent out on Friday. > http://arc.opensolaris.org/caselog/PSARC/2007/347/REDACTED.txt > > It's impossible to tell from the outside, but that one instance at least > looks like a case where the "here's how you make a closed opinion if you > need to" boilerplate information comments left in opinion.ms have caused > the entire case to be redacted. When that case was cleaned the confidential notice was removed from the .txt file without making the corresponding change to the .ms file. Previously .ms files weren't published so it didn't matter. I was requested to make the .ms files public, I've done that and as a result there are a couple of .ms files that need some additional cleanup. > I still think it should just be the one file that's affected by > redaction (not the whole case), but why are we scanning and (apparently) > attempting to publish the nroff sources anyway? I published them because the ARC community asked if it was possible to have access to them, and I agreed to do so - please see the arc-discuss mail archive for details. > If there are any Sun-internal members who want to take a swing at the > list, I'm sure it'll be appreciated by those of us outside. > > http://arc.opensolaris.org/caselog/unpublished_cases.html > > I'm pretty sure that 2006/017 and 2006/070 shouldn't be on this list. Both those cases have been marked as manual but no files have been made open. -- Alan Burlison --
