I've patched up a vpopmail that compiles without qmail installed and
doesn't require root to build. It also installs in FHS way (yay! debian
\o/).
The chkuser patch requires vpopmail to be installed, what do we think of
this?

vpopmail
qmail
qmail-toaster (where toaster is the Shupp.org version)
