No needless file/directory structures.

I think /usr/games would be it then, but I don't like to have games,
which are just programs in a separate prefix.

I would like something like /var/lib/games for hiscore files for various
games. At this moment I see various games throw it in $prefix/var/games,
which is a bat thing. Gnome-games, gweled and probably some more games
do this with /opt/gnome/var/games :X
