My nvidia (onboard) card is OK with alsa and 2.6.13 kernel, as well as
the Soundblaster Live 5.1.
For nvidia I use the snd_intel8x0 and for Soundblaster snd_emu10k1. Both
modules are without problems in PCs which I have upgraded.
