LC_ALL, sure? why? (it should be enough to set LANG) do you depend on it because of some broken/old software? | So perhaps rc.conf should allow | this. The present LOCALE variable is confusing as it sets only a | language. I suggest to make the LOCALE variable set LC_ALL and create | a LANGUAGE variable that would set LANG. LANG is worth setting ... but LC_ALL should be per default left empty. i didn't yet have a look at the new initscripts in detail (it's 0:30am here) so i'm not sure what LOCALE will set ... if it is something differetn to LANG, then we should add LANG. greetings, Damir -- Stop searching.
