The one in the kernel will be updated, and I would be very surprised
if it were not updated in 2.6.15. Currently they are changing things
so that the primary work on the driver is done in the kernel tree,
rather than seperate, hence the lack of releases on the website since
2.6.14 came out.

2.6.15... I would say, is not that far away.

Just a side note: I use the in kernel ipw2100 (note the 1, different
hardware to 2)driver and it works fine and is just as usable as the
releases.
