How long do you think it will be before 2.6.15 makes it into arch current? I mean 2.6.14 just went into current. I'd expect to see 2.6.15 come into testing soon, but it'll probably be a bit before it makes its way into current.
I've just started baking a 2.6.15-rc6 kernel just to see how things go. It looks like ipw2200 1.0.8 is in this one so I expect things to go a little smoother. There's still the issue of the wrong firmware version now in the current ipw2200 package but thats something that belongs in bugs. andy James Rayner wrote: >> I've seen some posts on the message boards from users with ipw2200 cards >> and the new kernel having some troubles. >> >> First off most of the version of ipw2200 in the kernel is 1.0.0 which is >> rather old. ....<big snip>..........if a trusted user would take this up >> so the packages would make it into community. >> > > The one in the kernel will be updated, and I would be very surprised > if it were not updated in 2.6.15.
