 | Firefox and thunderbird can be converted, you just need the .xpi of

i'm not very much used to the firefox/thunderbird apps... but i'm willing
to make it run in different langauges... so here some questions that i
need to clarify for myself for the beginning:

is there a place where we can download this .xpi files directly?

how big are this .xpi files and would it make sense providing them with
the standard pkg or would it be useful to have them packaged as
additional pkgs?

if you set LANG before starting firefox, would it use the correct .xpi
file for your language? where is this configured? (best would be to make
it work with the localisation and the LANG var instead of messing with
configs)

does somebody have experience with this? any input welcome!
