Maybe i dont see it that way as i did my upgrade to x7 and the latest udev package , and everything else ,without any problems at all , maybe its how people make the upgrade and not the upgrade itself.

:D

I have been an Arch user since October 2003 when I
moved from Slackware. The recent changes to Arch were
executed with such ineptitude that I almost downgraded
to Slackware. It is NOT a question of being on the
edge. Anybody can tolerate a glitch, they are just
there to keep us awake and to educate us. However
initrd, xorg and udev are each critical packages and
the level of activity on the mailing list re each of
these after they reached current is a message that
nobody should ignore or brush aside with bleeding edge
arguments.
