Wow good to know I'm not alone in this, and then I have the exact same issue, hence why I had to send this from gmail, because google was one of the few sites that did work. > I don't use the tulip driver (`dmesg | grep tulip` reports nothing), how do I > know which network driver I'm using ? Look through lsmod, or dmesg | grep eth0 might also yield usefull information. > Downgrading to 2.6.16 has been painful ; if you have to do so, double-check > everything before rebooting :) It shouldn't really be a big problem as long as you kept the old package, if you did `sudo pacman -U /var/cache/pacman/pkg/kernel26-2.6.16.20-1.pkg.tar.gz` should work fine. As long as you can deal with not having glx accleration in X if you don't want to mess with also downgrading nvidia. _______________________________________________ arch mailing list [email protected] http://www.archlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/arch
