hi guys, as per subject. I just managed to get X up on my Radeon
(thanks, guys!!), and am trying to get some statistics on my setup
using glxgears. Unfortunately, when i try to do a 'pacman -S
mesa-apps', I get the following message:

error: mesa conflicts with mesa-apps

But mesa is not installed?!! 'pacman -Qs mesa' produces no output, and
I have even searched the pacman log - no mesa installed here as well.
So, what gives? Searching the forums has not produced anything useful
regarding this. (This is a fresh install, btw, if that info is
helpful. While trying to get X up, i did try to install
xf86-video-ati, as well as xf86-video-drivers, but those have since
been removed).

Btw, I've noticed that there is a 'fgl_glxgears' executable within
package ati-fglrx-utils. So am i supposed to be using that instead?
(It gives me 200+ fps, btw - not too sure i should be happy with
that). Doesnt sound logical, though (cos i've read of people being
able to use glxgears with the Radeon), and I still do not understand
how the error message i've gotten came about.
