But let me answer with facts : 1) archlinux.fr dns was created in august 2006 with fake dns information. (to start hidden?) 2) I announce archlinuxfr.org new look on which I discuss and works since may 2006. Some current maintainer of archlinux.fr at this period decided to flood #archlinuxfr and kick wasn't enough. So we have to ban them. They didn't follow rules of this channel. First time in 2 years of activity. Next they created their website. Then they flame on ml. 3) After the lauch some current mainteners or "leader" of archlinux.fr decided to pollute our forums with bad information, insults, and such thing. We have to ban them. First time in 2 years of activity. Since them, no ban nor delete of users. 4) I propose them to find a way to merge our activity by mail then on the forum since they didn't answer : http://forums.archlinuxfr.org/viewtopic.php?id=1321 No answer from main maintainers. Another flame. 5) When a news about launch of new archlinuxfr.org website was posted on a big french portal (linuxfr.org) on homepage: http://linuxfr.org/2006/09/25/21376.html They decided to pollute it by personnal attacks against me and lie or false informations. The result was to give a bad image of all of this, of course... I precise that during 3,4,5 steps no attacks was given by members of archlinuxfr.org nor the team. Since october, it was a little more quiet, but then I learned that : They propose to each new member of #archlinuxfr to join their canal : (http://www.bchesneau.info/articles/2007/05/11/a-vous--de-juger) there is comment about it. Some french people from other canal on freenode contacted me that some members of archlinux.fr pollute their canal by personnal attacks against me. No kidding .... Then they do their bad april joke Then wain one of main maintainer of archlinuxfr decided to take my photo, modify my photo and use it as its avatar. Then they decided to threaten me following my post. But you know what; Yes I'm angry. Really angry. These people are really liars and yes they are contemptible. I don't think I over reacted. Their "april joke" yes was really bad and describe what they are and was too much. Irc personnal attacks on other channel too. Sorry, but i think they go too further. I wasn't against a merge, because what count is the community. They refused it. Maybe they weren't enough smart to understand that it was a real proposition. I don't think any merge is possible right now until these guys continue to lie to other. This is not my choice, this is their choice. Don't forget that. @iphitus : - there is a team that manage archlinuxfr.org. There was always a team. Some members of the archlinux.fr was members of this team but you know what, they disappeard and did nothing. One man project at start yes. But i don't speak to myself on this website... - archlinuxfr.org has a community. People continue to use the website.... - There was no need of another gallery since there was one on archlinux.org - look. I already said my point about this. So what is the point ? After you ignored us during so long time we can't take any decision better for our community ?? Come on ... Plus I already said that I'm ready to discuss about it if you have any valid argument. This is my only mail about this here. I'm really tired to see such behavior, and to see people that don't understand we could be angry by that. We don't speek of humour here.... Sorry for them.
