And none of this matters. We all have personal problems with other
people, it happens... c'est la vie[1]. Right now, lets let the past
be exactly that, the past.

None of us (hopefully) are here for our own selves, or ego stroking,
or things like that. What we do is for other people. Fighting over
how best to serve those other people is daft.

I don't care who's right, I don't care who's wrong. I don't care who
acted immature, or who did stupid things on IRC, or "flamed" them on
different forums - it doesn't matter.

See here's the simple fact. When people provide a unique service,
they're usually given a little leeway as far as behavior goes. Take
for instance, the guy who develops rxvt-unicode - great terminal
emulator, really harsh and irritable man. But I don't mind because
what he provides is very good.

Now, all the people involved here run a website. This is not hard.
Running a website entitles you to nothing. Sure, it entitles you to
say what you like on your website, but it entitles you to nothing in
the grand scheme of things.

Fighting like this is stupid. Again, I don't care who's right. The
people I care about are the French arch users who suffer because of
petty personal crap. It's ridiculous. This is the second time this
has come up through the official Arch channels. Let's stop it. The
mature action here is for one party to step to the fore and say "hey
let's forget this and try to resolve it" - this is what happened, and
now it's time to reciprocate.
