I understand pretty well Solstice d'Hiver reaction , since I had a very similar one when I first learned about the fork in the french speaking community. Basically, defend the old/first site & critic the forkers only, without knowing much of the why. IMHO Solstice d'Hiver did not read well Leif Thande's 1st message before writing on this thread. Which is a pity since Leif's message gives many accurate information and he managed to summarize & translate for everyone can have a better look at what happened. As an example, Leif's lecture makes it harder to misunderstand archlinux.fr's 1st April joke: that was a *joke* no more ;) (+ one may do joke about what he's looking for as well). Solstice d'Hiver is right about misuse of BC's picture though. MHO is that despite (or because of) their real nice tech' skills & ambition, archlinux.fr's guys are not communication gourou! ;) I realy hope that following answerers here will have read Leif Thande's 1st message!
