The .vob files and the iso both play fine on xine, mplayer and vlc complete with sound. I just discovered another interesting thing. When I burn the second .vob file by itself I get sound and it plays perfectly on the computer and the standalone player. I have another partition on this computer so I'll install PClinuxOS and see if these problems are with dvdstyler or if they are Arch Linux specific.
