*You wrote Main Hoon Na, and now Om Shanti Om with Mayur Puri. How did the story of OSO come to you?*
Mayur Puri has written the dialogues for *OSO*. The story just came to me when I was doing the musical *Bombay Dreams* in London, which was also about Bollywood, *Bombay Dreams* portrayed a cliché¤ and outdated version of the film industry. I thought if this were made into a movie and released in India it wouldn't work. *Why did you decide to switch to Vishal Shekhar from Anu Malik (who was the music director for Main Hun Na) for OSO's music? * A director has the prerogative to work with new people in a film if they feel it will give a new energy to the film. I wanted to first work with AR Rahman I though he would do a great job with the background score, but that didn't happen. After that I chose Vishal Shekhar because it is good to work with newer younger people gives you a fresh perspective. <http://specials.rediff.com/movies/2007/nov/09slid4.htm> http://specials.rediff.com/movies/2007/nov/09slid4.htm Gomzy
