Simone Singh will be back on television after a hiatus to host a music show, Mission Ustad jointly produced by Endemol and the UN for a newly-launched channel. Mission Ustad will have 10 singers who will provide engrossing musical entertainment for a cause. Says Simone, "Yes, I am hosting this new show Mission Ustad , as it has a lovely premise, besides it's a music-based show. I don't watch music-based shows on TV but Mission Ustad has a different format and it has the message of the Millennium Development Goal. I will have more to talk about the show once it goes on air. I am working only on this show as I believe in working in one show at a time. It has been a nice experience so far, shooting for the show as it has a host of talented singers." Says Rajesh Kamath md of the production company, "The show is produced by us and the UN is associated with the property as their campaign, Millennium Development Goal, will be promoted by us. We will announce the participants soon." Simone will be seen in contemporary Indian wear for the show. The actress is working on a film and has completed one schedule of Mission Ustad. Previously, she has hosted Cosmic Chat and Lounge on Zoom TV and CNBC respectively.
