dear tapey if raghuman accepts few of ordinary tamil films mean he just want to show he is in touch with tamil industry where he startted his career & to prove totally not away from it. two things to be accounted here. there were & there are good quality tamil movies releasing every year with other music directors which most of non-tamils do not know. In such cases only two options. Raghuman probably refused to work even in such good scripts due to lucrative hindi offers keeping the view such good script producers approached him. otherwise as said above he was approached by average team & accepted it like SOK & ATM & now new team Sakkarakatti to keep in touch with tamil industry. He proved enough he does not want to give quality scores for tamil films including films of big people like godfather (despite k.s.ravikumar) & sivaji (despite shankar). on this context he is not bothered about tamil fans who support him ever & are eager to listen to uncompromising tracks ignoring the scripts but only be disappointed after every relaease starting from godfather till date. it is all about music muisc only fans want & not the scripts. if he is not willing to give such credible music he need not accept any tamil movies & only hurting his tamil fans in the name of passion. Everyone include raghuman knew- World & bollywood took note of him only from the mind blowing tamil albums he once consistently produced to his true-self. After getting hindi offers for more money as some other guy said, he still worked for two big directors movies- k.s.ravikumar (godfather) & shankar (sivaji) (exlcuding mani ratnam). In both thesee movies also he failed to maintain his standards ? As world is taking note of him oflate he is burying his own tamil pride by giving average scores. RAGHUMAN SAYS MUSIC IS HIS PASSION. BUT RAGHUMAN PROVED MUSIC IS HIS WEAKNESS TO PLAY DOUBLE STANDARDS. EITHER GIVE AMAZING MUSIC IN TAMIL FILMS OR DO NOT ACCEPT TAMIL PROJECTS IS OUR HUMBLE REQUEST. PLEASE SPARE US THE TAMIL FANS. TAMILNADU IS RICH IN MUSIC, CULTURE & HERITAGE. WE CANNOT GIVE UP OUR PRIDE & SELF-RESPECT LIKE RAGHUMAN. VIC

ARR is an artist who is very popular and acclaimed in both regions, and there are differences between Hindi and Tamil cinema industries. Both cinemas have their good points and their bad points. I'm not saying ARR's track record in Hindi is perfect either. For a while he was doing a lot of period films. At the very least, these days, Hindi filmmakers are a little more willing to stretch boundaries, even if they don't always succeed. I see the articles and promos for upcoming Tamil films and there's nothing different. Maybe the cinematography and editing are flashier, but the stories are the same. --- In arrahmanfans@ yahoogroups. com, Kalimuthu <[EMAIL PROTECTED] ..> wrote: > > Can we avoid doing regional comparison? > > Good movies do come in Tamil but unfortunately ARR does not get to > score music for them for whatever reason.
