I don't think its that he doesn't want to give good music to Tamil films. Its that there are only so many times one can give music to the same old films with nothing to be inspired by. Why ARR did ATM, I don't know. Maybe he wanted to do a film with a mass hero. Maybe it started out as an interesting film when he signed it but it turned into a Vijay film. I was surprised that ARR agreed to do a Vijay film after Udhaya.
