Hi Guys.
I was at the concert, well, on stage!
I was heading the DRUMMERS' section for the songs Jiya se jiya,
Azeemo-shaan-shehenshah and Jai Ho-Vande Maataram.
Even though I was drumming on the beaty numbers i still feel that HE should
include more melodious numbers. U dont always need to stand on ur feet
to enjoy the music. My only expectation as an audience is that I should be
mesmerised with whatever comes to me. I think that due to the demand
of fast numbers ARR is not able to play his vintage classics which are strongly
rooted to melodic structure. Ppl are already listening to the fast numbers on
the FM channels. Concert is the time where they should listen to the real music
of ARR.

Subject: [arr] A pune-ite's concern

      Hi All,

Hope all our friends who made it to the Pune concert had a good time.

One of my friend who happened to attend the concert was feeling glad

that she was able to make it but she had a small concern that many was

not able to enjoy the show due to melody songs taking priority. Though

they loved it they werent quite happy as josh was missing. She was

disappointed as no tracks were performed from Lagaan, Swades, Rangeela

and I remember she even said RDB was missing. Also she told me that

the guys at the stands remained seated for most of the time which is

quite unusual since many of the songs were slow numbers. I am hereby

taking her concern to the group so that in the next concert the

concerned people should be able to make it a still better show.

Cheers,

Hameed.
