I will try to reply with my perspective of the show and the "lack of 
enthusiasm" from the audience......

Being resident of Pune for past 25 years, my conclusion is Pune audience is 
different than other cities, such as, they do not make much of noise during any 
concert, let it be a movie / classical / light orchestra etc. They like to 
listen to the songs with all seriousness and appreciate the nuances and finer 
details of any music during the show and AFTER the song and the show is over, 
they like to clap and show the appreciation..... a somewhat disciplined 
behavior.

Even for our RAHMANIA shows by The Wandering Souls, we get cheers, and claps, 
but the audience does not get up from seat. It is somewhat the culture of this 
soil.

And for dancing and creating noise, there are Discos....
