I guess, Mannipaya interlude which has Tirukural will be a prelude for this kind of song. I am sure ARR will give fitting music for this beautiful words by Kalaignar. I really was thinking that ARR will try to use veteran singer T.M. Soundararajan to sing these verses along with P. Susheela and other veteran singers whose dictions are rarity now a days. Since these song is for posterity and will be sung in all government functions from its inception, ARR is the apt choice to do justice for his mother tongue. Sun TV's Kalanidhi Maran is instrumental in roping ARR for this song. Otherwise it could have gone to someother composer. Yet another working by ARR for current and future generations.
