In the user tool, go to Tools->Options then click on Behaviours tab. You'll see an option " set number of rows returned" you can set whatever number you want to in there.

There does not appear to be a way to restrict number of records returned in the user tool.

Agnus:

Yes.  Check out the advanced tab for user options.  If you want to do this at the database level, I don't know of a method to do this other than a really refined query.

If I go into user tool and do an advanced search I can use SQL type syntax.
But is there any means of restricting the number of records returned.  Eg the first 100?
