Hi Brian:
Its W2K3 with SQL 2000. I actually deleted the entries out of
SHR:Application_Properties, did a little bit of performance tweaks & turned
off what was unneccesary and now it seems to be installing much better.
Thanks to all who replied!

Mike,
What arserver os/db platform are installing on? I had a similar slowdown
with Win2003 with a remote Oracle 10g db. The fnd portion did take
forever to load.

Hi Rick:
Yes, followed all the prereqs, but I just checked the arerror.log and it
looks like the server crashed about the time it hung up.
Am I correct in saying that all I need to do is delete the entry in
SHR:Application_Properties and restart the install?
