downloading it now. Does BMC offer a subscription option whereby you are
notified by email when patches are released?

In case you didn't
see this, and are using (or looking at) ITSM 7, there are patches for Change and
SLM out there - since Thursday. The SLM one is only necessary for those
wanting to use Windows-only authentication to SQL, but the CM one has a
lot of functional fixes in it.
