Add the above field to the form if it is not already on the form.

Add an active link firing on Search that sets a value(Set Field
action) to the 'Query Bar' field based on the value supplied in the
field. (Example: 'fieldDB_name' = "$fieldDB_name$" ) Note you might
actually need two active links, one to just set the 'Query Bar' when
it is null and another to append to the 'Query Bar' a value starting
in "AND" or "OR" depending on the logic your after for the user.  Also
if the user leaves the field blank then you might need a different
single/set of active links to enter the right value if the user leaves
it blank too.

Has anyone built a Boolean type search, I have one field that I need to
search on, similar to the advance search bar, yet I need to build the query
punctuate it and pass it the query bar and have the user submit the query by
using the form action Query this is to used  on the web with Mid-Tier 6.3 I
am desperate for some direction, I am not a programmer, I administer, yet
like many of us we are the DBA, developer, and administrator. Any guidance
or help would sincerely be appreciated……………….
