The compatibility guide shows only XP for the user tool and XP/WIN2003 for
the admin tool/Migrator

Though I do remember BMC saying that they were going to be dropping
support for Windows 2000. Now I'm not sure what to believe...

Are all your users on Win XP clients?
This is the only client environment supported by BMC for the V7 user
tool.
