Somebody recently (circa 3 or 4 months ago) posted an excellent article that did a side-by-side comparison of all the various ITSM/Help Desk type products. You might be able to search the list archives to find it. I'm not sure of its complete impartiality, as the article was trumpeted on (but not written by) BMC's site.
