Hi, If you want the active link workflow to fire only on create mode and not on search mode then you can use the $OPERATION$ keyword in this case and specify in the run-if of the active link $OPERATION$!="QUERY". Additionally you can look up for the various values for $OPERATION$ keyword.
Hope that helps! Warm Regards, Nisha Ramtri Remedy Development, ITAC, ST Microelectronics Ltd. Plot#1, Knowledge Park-III, Greater Noida. (blush) I have an active link that populates the assign-to group and individual fields on window load of the HPD:HelpDesk form, however when they click Search for Request, the HPD:HelpDesk form opens in (Search) mode and they have to delete the auto-populated information prior to searching (if they are searching for something else). How do I limit an active link to only run in (New) mode? Not even sure if I have the lingo right...mode/view?! Any help/documentation you could provide to point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated! I've looked in the documentation but am not sure how to even word it to find it! s:) Thanks! ____________________________________________________________________________ ___ UNSUBSCRIBE or access ARSlist Archives at http://www.wwrug.org _______________________________________________________________________________ UNSUBSCRIBE or access ARSlist Archives at http://www.wwrug.org
