Solaris 10 for x86 is available on the sun web site. You can run native Sun Solaris vs linux and probably have fewer issues than trying to install remedy on linux.
Solaris rocks on x86 machines. And yes you can install the Oracle Client 10g 32 bit on a 64 bit machine under Solaris.
